Terms of service
Last updated: 4 November 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Avenora Global Education (“Avenora”, “we”), an independent education consultancy based in Ethiopia. They cover our services and this website.
By creating an account, sending us documents or paying a fee, you accept these terms. You must be 18 or older. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you and is responsible for the payments.
2. What we do
We give guidance on studying abroad: a written plan after reviewing your documents, help preparing and submitting university applications, guidance through pre-enrollment, and help preparing your visa file. Each stage, and what it includes, is described on our Services and Fees pages.
We are not a university, an embassy, a visa centre or a scholarship body, and we do not act as their agent. We are not a law firm and do not give legal or immigration-law advice.
3. No guarantee of outcomes
Admission, scholarships (including DSU), visas and their timing are decided by universities, scholarship offices and embassies, not by us. We do not guarantee any admission, scholarship, visa, amount of funding or date.
Your plan and our advice are our professional opinion, based on the information and documents you give us and on the rules published at the time. Rules can change after we give advice.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us true, complete and up-to-date information, and only genuine documents.
- Reply to our requests and meet the deadlines we give you. Universities and embassies do not move their deadlines.
- Pay third-party costs yourself, such as application, translation, legalisation and visa fees. They are not part of our fees.
- Keep your account password private.
5. False or forged documents
We will never submit a document we believe is false or altered. If we find that information or a document you gave us is false, we will stop working for you immediately, the fees you have paid will not be refunded, and we may refuse to work with you in future.
6. Fees and payment
Our fees and when each one is due are listed on our Fees page. You pay in Ethiopian Birr to the accounts shown in your dashboard, and upload the receipt there. We start work on a stage once its payment is confirmed.
We may change our fees for the future. A stage you have already paid for keeps the price you paid.
7. Refunds
- Registration fee: non-refundable once our expert has started reviewing your documents.
- Admission starter fee: non-refundable once we have started preparing your applications.
- University acceptance fee: charged only after a university admits you.
- Visa support fee: refunded in full if your study visa is refused, provided the refusal is not caused by false information or documents, or by you not following our instructions or the embassy's.
- A payment made twice or by mistake is refunded in full.
- Apart from these cases, fees are not refunded, including if you change your mind, miss a deadline, or a university, scholarship office or embassy decides against you.
- Approved refunds are paid within 30 days, to the account the payment came from.
8. Universities, embassies and other third parties
Universities, Universitaly, scholarship offices, the embassy, visa centres, banks and couriers make their own rules, can change them without notice, and can close early, delay or make mistakes. We are not responsible for what they do or decide, or for delays caused by documents that reach us late.
9. Our responsibility to you
We do our work with reasonable care and skill. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for any stage is limited to the fee you paid us for that stage.
We are not liable for indirect losses, such as a lost study year, travel or tuition costs, or lost opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud or gross negligence, or any right you have that the law does not allow us to exclude.
10. How we communicate
Messages in your dashboard and emails to the address on your account are our official channels. Decisions, document requests and payment confirmations are sent there. WhatsApp and phone calls are for convenience. You agree to receive emails about your own application.
11. Your documents and our work
Your documents remain yours, and we handle them as our privacy policy describes. Your plan is for your own use: you may use it to apply on your own, but you may not sell or publish it. Our templates, checklists and methods remain ours.
12. Stopping the service
You can stop at any time by telling us; the refund rules above apply. We may stop working with you if you break these terms, give us false documents, are abusive to our staff, or do not reply to us for 60 days. Work you have already paid for and received, such as your plan, stays yours.
13. Information on this website
We write our content carefully, but admissions rules, scholarship conditions, fees and dates change often. Information here is general guidance, not a promise, and may not apply to your situation. We confirm the details for each client's own applications.
The text, design and images on this website belong to Avenora Global Education or are used with permission. Some images are illustrations and do not show specific universities or students. We are not responsible for the content of other websites we link to.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For each stage, the terms in force when you paid for it apply.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia. If you have a complaint, contact us first and give us 30 days to resolve it. If we cannot, the dispute will be decided by the competent courts in Addis Ababa.
